Baby Church

Photo of Kylee

Hi, my name is Kylee Johnson and I lead the Baby Church team. We care for children anywhere from newborn through 1 year of age. From your baby's very first experience with the local church, they experience the love of Christ through committed and consistent workers who provide an awesome environment for kids to play and meet new friends.

We have designed a section of the room that is reserved strictly for newborns and infants and our goal in Baby Church is to have a minimum of 1 adult worker for every 2 kids to ensure that each child is well taken care of while they are here. Once kids move into our crawler room, they experience the teaching of some very basic biblical truths accompanied by original songs, focus corners, and color pages. Of course, there is also ample opportunity each week for kids to run, play, and have some fun in our Baby Church rooms. Please take some time to meet our volunteers, look at some pictures, download some of our coloring sheets, or visit the Dr.'s Corner for some advice concerning common infant/toddler health issues. Dr.'s Corner

Photo of Jeff Common Cold - The common cold often includes symptoms of a sore throat, runny nose, congestion, cough, and general fatigue. It is usually caused by a virus and will run its course within seven to ten days. Antibiotics are rarely needed. I would recommend calling a doctor if your child has any of the following symptoms: fever over 100.4 degrees in an infant less than three months old, sickness persists past ten days, ear pain, swollen glands, or has less than three wet diapers a day (caused by dehydration). Please never feel foolish for taking your child to a doctor. Some simple things you can do to help your child recover include rest, plenty of fluids, frequent hand washing, over the counter cold remedies, and a warm bowl of chicken noodle soup.
