Midweek Service :: Summer Schedule
We've switched up our Tuesday service schedule for the summer, so make sure to check that out on the left hand side of the page. We will be meeting every Tuesday throughout the summer, but one week just the women will meet, the next week, just the men will meet, and then once a month we will all meet together at the Ward with children's ministry for birth thru Kidz Church. We will not be providing children's ministry on the weeks where just the men or women are meeting. For those who may be single parents and need help finding childcare on their particular week, please contact Matt and we'll do our best to help.
Typically during these services, the music team will play a number of songs, many of them written by those in the band, to help us prepare our hearts to seek and to hear from God.
After a short teaching segment, we provide those attending with the opportunity to participate in communion. Jesus initiated this time during his last meal with his disciples, instructing them to "...do this in remembrance of me...". In this symbolic way we are reminded of the length that Christ went to to secure our freedom and change the way we live our lives forever.
We then either break up into groups of 4 or 5, or join together as a whole body to pray for those around us and for a list of church needs. We typically spend at least fifteen to twenty minutes in prayer like this.
